CREATING A WEB PAGE ROLLOVER (IMAGE READY)

 

Use the following general workflow to create a set of rollover buttons.
You can make rollovers using layer-based slices or layer-based image maps.
1. Create the content for the Normal state. 
If you are creating a rollover button, start by creating the button as you want
it to look when the page is first loaded in a web browser. Make sure to put
each button in a set of rollover buttons in a separate layer so that you can create
a layer-based slice or image map.
If you plan to completely replace the contents of the Normal state (as opposed to modifying the layer’s style), create contents for other states in other layers.
2. If using image maps, make each button a layer-based image map.
Choose Layer > New Layer Based Image Map Area. You’ll need to add each state, including the first state. See To add a rollover state (ImageReady).
3.If using slices, make each button a layer-based rollover button.
Click the Create Layer-Based Rollover button on the Web Content palette. ImageReady creates an image-based slice and adds the Over state to the Web Content palette. See To create a layer-based slice for a rollover (ImageReady).
4.Add rollover states. 
Create additional rollover states as needed, or change the default Over state automatically created by the layer-based rollover button. See To add a rollover state (ImageReady) and To change a rollover state.
5.Edit the layer content for the state to create the rollover effect. 
Select the state you want to work with in the Web Content palette. You can apply and change layer styles for each state, change the position of content in each layer, or change the visibility of a layer. If you are replacing the contents of one layer with another, make the first layer invisible and the second visible for that state.
For more information on changes you can make to each state, see Editing layers in rollover states and animation frames (ImageReady).
You can use layer styles to create instant rollover effects. When working with layer-based slices, you can also save the series of states as a rollover style. 
If you are creating a remote rollover, target the remote slice to the selected state.
Use the Pickwhip icon in the Web Content palette to point to the slice that contains the image for the remote rollover. See To create a remote rollover 
6.Optimize the image.
Choose a file format for the image and set optimization options in the optimization palette. See To optimize an image for the web.
7.Preview the rollover. 
Preview the rollover in ImageReady as you create it. Then preview it in various web browsers used by your audience. See To preview rollovers (ImageReady).
8.Save the rollover.
Save a web version of your rollover using the File > Save Optimized command. Make sure that the output settings are set to save an HTML page along with the image files. ImageReady will write the JavaScript code for the rollover in the HTML page.

You want to get the most out of your wireless device and all the speed you
can muster when you surf the web. The first thing you’ll want to do to make
that happen is to make sure you’ve got a strong signal for your wireless device.
Sometimes the elements aren’t all that cooperative. Obstructions, distance
from the source, and antenna strength may conspire against you. Fortunately,
there are some ways to overcome some of these.

Here are 10 ways to boost your wireless signal:

1. Re-positioning your router/antenna is almost always the best place to start
when your signal is less than ideal. If you haven’t already, place it in as central
a location as possible. There should be as few walls or other signal obstructions
between it and the location(s) you will be working from most often.


2. Repeaters can be purchased, which can boost the signal strength of your
existing antenna. Placing a repeater at a midpoint between your router and
the furthest-most point of your coverage area is ideal.


3. You can also opt for an external antenna to replace the internal antenna of
your router when so-equipped. Most router antennae are omnidirectional, which
means they transmit in all directions. This isn’t always the best configuration, as
it could also mean that much of your signal is being sent outside your area or
into a nearby wall. Try a high-gain antenna that focuses the signal in one
direction, where it’s needed.


4. Change channels. There are three channels that your router uses – 1, 6 and
11 – and it’s possible that the one you’re using isn’t providing the best possible
signal. Consult your manufacturer’s configuration web page for how to change
the channel.


5. While you’re there, check for any firmware updates that may increase your
router’s performance, including signal strength.


6. Check also for firmware updates for your laptop’s network adapter.


7. Check to see if your router is getting interference from other devices that
share its operating frequency. Most are set to use the 2.4 GHz range, which is
shared by cordless phones, garage door openers, baby monitors and
microwave ovens. You may need to put some distance between them, or
consider switching to an 802.11n router, which also uses the 5.0GHz frequency.


8. Try replacing the wireless adapter in your laptop with a USB adapter with
external antenna.

9. Check out DD-WRT.com for free open-source software that can increase
your router’s performance.Caution: use of this software can in some cases
void your router’s warranty.


10. Using a single vendor for your router, antenna and adapter can mean
better performance too.


Depending on your situation, gaining signal boost may be as simple as
relocatingor reconfiguring your router or antenna. Experiment a little
before spending money. You could have everything you need already,
just not in the best location.

It is a specialised job and requires intensive training.

Among the other Jobs the task of the pilot is considered as the most exciting one. It requires intensive training along with specialised knowledge of air navigation, interpretation of meteorological reports, operations of sophisticated electronic and mechanical controls.


Eligibility

Student Pilot Licence (SPL): This is an examination conducted by flying clubs in every State and covers papers in Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation Air Technical. It is a theory exam.

Eligibility - age of 16 years minimum and pass in class X. A medical certificate of fitness, security clearance and a bank guarantee of Rs.10,000 is required.

Selection -Candidates taking the SPL test have to appear in an oral examination on a fixed day every month; candidates go through a medical test. Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME),Subroto Park,New Delhi and Institute of Aviation Medicine(IAM), Vimanpura Bangalore, are the final authorities for medical fitness. After medical clearance the candidate gets the SPL.Candidates are also required to pass the Pilot Aptitude Test.

Private pilot licence -practical training After getting the SPL the candidate accompanied by the flying instructor proceeds for initial flying training. This is a dual flight, where the instructor or trainer accompanies the learner to teach him the practical aspect of flying. Then the candidate gets his first independent flight normally after about 15 Hour of dual flying. 9This includes cross country flying. A total of 60 Hours of flying is needed of which 20 hour minimum should be solo and 5 hours cross-country.

Theory Exam - There is a thory examination also, the subjects are: Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation, Aircraft Engines, Seamanship.

Eligibility: 10+2 and medical fitness certificate from AFCME OR IAM.The age requirement is 17 Years.

Fees: Flying training is costly. Fee has increased over the years. Approximately Rs. 1000 are charged per hour for flying. Some States do subsidised the rates for the residents of the states. These fees may be revised from time to time.

Commercial pilot licence: A student can get the CPL by doing his flying training for 129 hours to complete 250 Hour of flying.
Training facilities are available with Flying Clubs in India, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Academy, Rae barelly, UP, Private Academies or Flying School in USA or Europe, Australia, Gulf,etc.

Education eligibility : XII(physics and Maths), Non-Science students who started flying before jan1,1994 were eligible for 1996 admission. Current PPL Licence needed with flying experience in the last 3 year.

Eligible Age: 18 years to 30 years.

Medical fitness - As granted by AFCME, New Delhi/IAM, Bangalore.

Written Exam - A written exam in the following subjects is needed for getting the CPL:
Air Regulations, aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation, Technical, Planning. These exams are conducted 6 times a year.

Actual flying experience required - 250 hours of total flying time (150 hours of solo, 25 hours of cross country, 10 hours of instrument flying, and 5 hours of night flying).
